Born Again In 2025
It;s 2025 and the new album 'Born Again' is now available on all major streaming and download sites...
The very title 'Born Again' might evoke instant thoughts of Christian revival and many such similar mental images but that is not the case at all.
People can take what they want from the album, which I hope will find a diverse audience, but at the end of the day it's another mile in my journey and I hope listeners will enjoy the direction it's heading...
The conception of the album started with the title track 'Born Again' which was inspired by the passing of two musicians I had worked with in the past and the history we had which was peppered with good and bad memories; it would be fair to say that both these guys had no problem screwing me over to get themselves ahead and as the line in the song says: 'All is fair in love and rock & roll', so I guess they taught me much about human nature, trust and how mercenary the music business can be. So I thank them for that and the few good memories I have of them.
'Say goodbye departed friends, we'll never take the stage again, the past is just a jaded memory' are the opening words that took me to the hook-line 'I'm born again' which is exactly how I felt; life's too short to carry someone else's baggage and their passing made me somewhat grateful for the time I have left; it was the shove I needed to re-energize as a musician and move forward in a new and positive way...

I had a lot of fun working on the album over approximately 6 months and the video shoot was a bit of lighthearted fun at the end; for some reason people often listen with their eyes and although basic, this video is definitely the best in it's price range...
2025 offers all of us a unique opportunity to move ahead in our own way and wherever that leads is entirely up to each individual.
I have no idea what I might do next or when I might do it; but I'm sure something will happen and inspiration will again shape my musical journey...
