Well here we are in July 2023 already and what a year it's been so far.
So delving in me head I found a few things I'd like to share starting with the ongoing Ukraine war...
Like many I got highly excited when Yevgeny Prigozhin started marching towards Moscow with his band of merry men; only to stop cut a deal and run like a wimpy little bitch. He had the chance to possibly stop the war, take out a dictator and save thousands of lives; but he didn't and in some respects he has made Putin a little cockier even if just domestically...
So, life goes on Putin spreads his own twisted brand of madness and NATO waits in the wings; I think it's time to end it now and save the world from Putin's insane and illegal war...
Moving on The Beatles have a new single coming out, it's unconfirmed what it's called yet and there has been much conversation about whether they used AI or not; but if they did where can I get it?
Either way I am sure it will be a great song for those of us who still like a little J, P, G & R in our lives...
The Beatles
That leads me nicely to what I've been doing for a new album which may be released early next year...
I have never worked so slowly in the respect of making every note different; the opening track is 02:26 long and took me 4 weeks to complete from writing through to recording and a rough mix.
The second track is underway and I just have the rhythm section on my phone so I can write the lyrics carefully and hopefully come up with something quite different...
On the equipment front I switched back to a 40Watt Vox valvetronix which has a huge selection of settings and effects in addition to using more traditional pedals like a Behringer VD400 Vintage Delay.
Guitar-wise I am using a 74 Fender Stratocaster, Epiphone Les Paul Vintage Model, Guild Starfire, Hofner Beatle bass and Cimar and Washburn acoustic guitars...
Check out the current catalogue via the links below and stay tuned... It's getting better all the time...
Kind regards...
