Top Secret

It's new single time on June 30 with the release of 'Top Secret' / 'Dangerous Games'; two songs I decided to give some James Bond inspired story lines to.

There have been a few more track deletions and I think the recent ones will be the last. Some of the tracks will be completely rerecorded in time but I have to be honest that those last deleted tracks were not fit for purpose; it's amazing that it was never the songs that were the problem, just the low keys and terribly compressed final mixes. I rarely use compression at all these days and if I do I use the 'less is more' approach.

So, my current catalogue stands at a humble two albums and 5, soon to be, 6 singles. You can't substitute good headphones or speakers for listening to music but I am really happy that the new material sounds good on the tiny speakers in most smart phones.

A third album is already locked and loaded for release on December 15, just in time for the holiday season, prior to that album release will be another single and possibly an EP, but wait! there's more...

I am going to attempt video blogging on sites like Facebook, Instagram and Tick Tock; I think it will be nice to engage more with listeners / followers and the topics will fill in the gaps nicely such as who I am, influences, guitars / equipment as well as some background info on some of the songs I have written.

The big project is experimenting with proper music videos, which will take a few months, but I have the technology, green-screen and hopefully the patience to figure it all out.

Again, thank you for all of the support I have received and will do my best to make things worth listening to in the future...
